The caverns where I dwell
Could transport to the sky
Trails that abound may lead you well
May bring you far, or keep you nigh

These caves of pleasant dreams
Might soothe your troubled heart
But nightmares often break the seams
To play a different part

What magic hides in this strange wood?
What Wizards rule this world?
Can I discern what's bad from good?
What fate to be unfurled?

This, not pixie dust I drink
Transcends their playful breath
This wondrous mist, mysterious link
To birth and life and death

I open doors to hidden codes
And gaze at arts to me unknown
My being cannot see these modes
Such tricks I'm never shown

I fear these paths of light and dark
But to protect, my blood would shed
Great Mother bids me watch and hark
So here I make my bed

To travelers! Enter if you dare!
Through these windows you may peer
This realm exists for all to share
A gift to hold so dear!
