How much does a dream cost?
How white is that ceiling!
But how many figures dance in it, create themselves, take form,
intersect, and allow me to dream! And in this way I grow with diaphanous,
sweet and generous creatures, who make this world more acceptable
to me. This world that I have hard time accepting, this world in
which I live but I have the feeling I do not belong to it when I
meet wickedness, greed, insensitiveness, war, injustice. And in
those moments I play with colours. I paint, make sculptures, and
create, to remind myself and the world to never stop dreaming. Because
if a man stops dreaming, nothing has meaning anymore, and the purpose
and flavour of life are lost.
But… How much does a dream cost?
Dreaming costs nothing, may say someone… And that’s
true. But if you want to make that dream real, that same dream may
cost all of your life! To fulfil a dream you must get out of ranks,
abandon the thoughts of the tribe you belong to, be ready to go
against the mainstream and, fundamentally, to be ready to live your
loneliness with integrity, knowing that you are not really so lonely…
If you have the courage to fully believe it and to ask, knowing
that everything will arrive in the end, as well as to face and overcome
all inner shadows and difficulties… here the dreams appears
in the material world.
