Faeryland Calendar 2011

The Fairy Books Department

This exclusive and very collectable calendar showing the art of the world's foremost Faery contemporary artists was such a success in 2009 and 2010 that it sold out early. To save disappointment we present now the opportunity to purchase early your calendar requirements for 2011. Below is a preview of the calendar, all copyright references shown are not printed on the actual individual calendar pictures and therefore make this publication very collectible with its pictures for framing later.

Selina Fenech began as a child to create artworks of her own ideas of fantasy inspired by the illustrations in her fairytale books. She grew up continually trying to improve her art and create that same magical feel and sense of adventure she knew as a child.

Jessica GalbrethJessica Galbreth is celebrated for her ability to capture the haunting and often mysterious beauty of faeries. Each of her visions, brought to life on paper, has a personality of its own.

Ora Moon is known for her watercolor fantasy-scapes, especially those depicting faeryland. With each painting she hopes to bring back to the world the forgotten places that lie betwixt and between.

Stephanie Pui-Mun LawStephanie Pui-Mun Law is inspired by mythology, legend, and folklore. She has also been greatly influenced by the art of the Impressionists and the Surrealists. Stephanie conveys with her art not simply fantasy, but the fantastic, the sense of wonder, and that which is sacred.

Nadezhda Strelkina is inspired by old Russian folk legends, religious beliefs and fairy themes, rendering dreamlike images of angelic women. She is especially known for her flawless faces, delicate postures, and masterful translucent technique that captures the essence of the feminine beauty.

Josephine Wall has had a passion for light and color, fantasy and visual storytelling since she was a child. She is influenced by the illustrative talents of Arthur Rackham, the romanticism of the Pre-Raphaelites, and the surrealism of Magritte and Dalí.
