A Faerie’s Heartbreak - Nicole Webb©2006

May 24th, 2006

I used to endlessly fly
My wings so full of grace
All it took was your presence
To put a smile on my face
You’d tell me that you love me
And that if I wasn’t there you’d fall
But now its all over
You’re no longer there when I call
Now the tears wont stop falling
There’s no smile to be found
My wings are torn and tattered
There’s no need to fly around
Picking petals off a flower
He loves me, he loves me not is the game
I start out with he loves me
But it doesn’t end the same
Now I’m left alone
shattered faerie heart
Sinking into nothing
You finally tore me apart
And yet im still here waiting
For you to come back and let me fly
’cause I cant live without you
No matter how hard I try
For something that barely started
It had a heartbreaking end
And all I want right now
Is to hear “I love you” once again
Don’t leave me all alone
Don’t break my faerie heart once more
I can’t take any more pain
My wings are still tattered and torn
Why can’t you love me
Like you say you love her?
I gave you everything I had
I gave you my whole world
Good things happen to those who wait
But I’ve been waiting all my life
To have you in my arms forever
And spread my perfect wings and fly
He Loves Me Not Faerie (petals really land on it!)

The Fairy Winter Ball - Alex Balicki ©2006

May 24th, 2006

Once the sun has set and the moon begins to glow
Fairies come out to play in the winter snow.
Some are dressed up so warm in their winter clothes
Others, running about dancing on their toes.
Look at that one cried a snowman their trying to make
Whilst others decide to ice skate upon the frozen lake.
Now as it reaches midnight the snow begins to fall
All the fairies decided to dress up and have a winter ball.

Inside the ice palace there’s the room in which they will eat
Now they are arriving in beautiful clothes each other they will greet.
All arriving on snowflakes made of soft white lace
And the beauty of the snow queens sapphire eyes sent upon her face.
She commanded they dance the women’s dresses they swirl
As the men spin them round, gently they twirl.
After the dancing it was time for tea
And what a beautiful sight to see.

A certain grand table of food, the chefs are bringing more
The fairies faces light up with all this galore.
After a grand meal the orchestra they play
The men gather the women from their seats and they dance away.
After the dancing and the queens speech
The punch is revealed and the fairies, for glasses they reach.
Clinking of glasses and a huge array of cheers
Some brush away happy, joyful tears.

Some more dances then the ball has ended
As the fairies left they said how they thought it was rather splendid.
As they go out into the frozen, icy, cold night
The fairies used their wings to take flight.
Now the ice palace is empty and the candles are all out
Its still snowing outside, and no one is about.
All the fairies are asleep with their dreams
Everything in the fairy world is as it seems.

The sun slowly begins to rise
And the stars disappear from the skies.
All the fairies are still asleep
But memories of the winter ball, forever they will keep.

Sparkling Fairies - Katelyn ©2006

May 23rd, 2006

Sparkling fairies in the sky,
Without a doubt they’re flying high.
Circling their beloved castle,
The tooth fairy comes to pick up a parcel.

“Come all fairies near and far” The queen fairie calls, He he ha ha
For a witch who lives a short distance away,
is planning a trick so wicked to slay.

The queen fairy says a few magic words, and in a few moments the witch is covered in birds.
The birds get up and they all fly away- look what they left today,
Some magic droppings to keep the witch at bay.

Fairy Friend - Chloe Glass©2006

May 23rd, 2006

I’d like to be the kind of friend
That you have been to me;
I’d like to be the special help
That you’ve been glad to be.
I know I’m blessed, for only God
Can make a friend like you;
You know just how to cheer me up
Whenever I feel blue.
Could I have but one wish fulfilled
This one only would it be –
I’d like to be the kind of friend
You’ve always been to me.

Summer Poem

May 22nd, 2006

Sun bright melt rain river on the rise
Eagle with the sparrow where the crow and raven fly
Song of sixpence on the pound where minstrel kings collide
Stars of morning in the train
The track to what must fly

There
On the stair of heaven sound and light
Golden bliss wing eagles
In an endless stirring flight
Through the clouds of mountain peaks
Formations prism grand
Time the warp and space the woof
Every little strand
Woven on through empty space
To shine illusion’s grand design

Time
Sunk so solid in reason’s past design
Stands like walls before us
While the future never climbs
That to this what was and is
And so it all must be
The rain will pour
The wailing sound
Of all those lost between
The want and wish the prayer the hope
The gamble on what is
Look ye well to the mirror bright
The news is shining
This is this

O I would send you happiness
And I would send you joy
There is a light in fearlessness
The seasons shift the story is not blue
Life is ever new

The world of earth now changes garb
What was is not to be
To ride the raft of what there is
To hold on and be free
No doubt instable compounds merge
Configuring the states of hue
And you are what you think
And you are what you do
And we all fly from earth to sky
Seeking many points of view

Be well be wise be happy
Share what joy you may
The summer season hails the sun
All good things remain

Meadow Fairy - Amy Riberdy©2005

May 19th, 2006

I was down in the meadow pondering my mind,
When I spotted a rose petal falling behind.
I mused that the butterflies were just having fun,
Flitting and flirting under a daffodil sun.

I sat by the stream and drank tea with a dragon.
We had dream berry bread and wine by the flagon.
Up popped a Fairy King on top of a starfish,
“Fly with me, dear maiden. I’ll be all that you wish.”

I thanked the dear dragon and waved on with a tear.
He promised me happiness with nothing to fear.
I hopped on the starfish and cherished my lover,
Touching his pure heart and the strength of his fervor.

We rode to the meadow and lay in fresh roses.
Passions breathed kisses and the stroking of noses.
Now, musing, the bright butterflies pondered the fun,
As we flitted and flirted in daffodil sun.

Time and again, it was more pleasure than rainbow.
A laugh and a touch and a whisper would follow.
Sated, I trifled; “Lord, are you granting my wish?”
“Or, is this a sweet dream caused by riding a fish?”

“It is all that you wished for.” he said with a kiss.
“Your soul so long troubled, it mislaid all of this.”
Then, I awoke. The gentle dragon was weeping.
“I’m sorry, my darling, you and I were sleeping.”

“Fairy Kings and startfish do not ride in this stream.”
“Your lover, your heart’s passions, were only a dream.”
“But, I have been part of you since time has begun.”
“I am real, beloved, in this daffodil sun.”
