Will You Fly Back Perchance? - Dorothea Barth 2012© Fallbrook CA USA
Once you peeked from every flower
Cavorted in the dew
You perched on robin, fawn, or hare
The faeries that I knew
Effervescent, luminescent
Your swirling faery dance
So swiftly vanished from my sight
Will you fly back perchance?
In mournful mist the Muses sing
Inspirers of the arts:
Fleet faeries will return to those
Who see with open hearts
