An Elf In My Room - Leanne©Co.Dublin Ireland

There is a small elf who lives in my room
He thinks I have never seen him before
He’s small and wears red
He sneaks out when I go to bed
But when he sleeps boy he does snore
One day I heard him whisper
In a chipmunk kind of way
“Is my house nearly built?
Because I feel a little guilt,
Sleeping in this girl’s room every day!”
Then he must have a house in a forest
That is only being made
To stay in my room is not wrong
Sure he will not be here long
For he will leave to his forest home in the shade!
