My Friend said to me,
"come to my party"
So I got out my dress,
With ribbons and frills,
And skipped to the garden,
My heart full of thrill.

When I got there,
With my friends I did share,
The singing and dancing,
Without any care.

My dress floated gently,
Upon the light breeze,
I twirled in the sunlight,
And danced round the trees.

I had a great time in the afternoon sun,
I laughed and I played,
And had lots of fun.
and after it all
My dress went away,
Stored in the wardrobe
for the next special day.
