Can you hear the faint little drum,
Beating so fast
You look around but they can’t be found
When you reach a little rock with a little pile of toadstool
first you believe with all your might
then take a glance
there are five little mysterious things dancing ’round a fire
you try to silently catch one
and you do
treat them with all your respect
and all the chocolate too
you tell them all your dreams and wishes and they sit there and listen
but one day even though you don’t want them to go
you will build up your own courage and say i will miss you so
she flies up into the midsummers night sky and starts a little dance
flies down and kisses your cheek
She say” I’ll be back”
then a bunch of dragonflies, butterflies and even more fairies
fly toward you doing a little aerial ballet then take off in a flash
but when they are all gone you can still hear all the beats going on around you
