Should you but leave a bit of jam
Out upon a log
And spy by night for fairy flight
Through mists and rolling fog
The flutter prints from where there stood
A dash of jam on fairy wood
Shall be forever left for you
Wingprints of where a fairy flew.
Please meet my friend Hairy Nose,
And I’m Fairy Flower just the same…
I care for what’s growing…
Or should I suppose…
Still I prefer to flutter under a grown-up’s nose…
Till sneeze does cause splutter..,.
As then I catch wind,
It shoots me right into the garden dying…Or is it in fall repose…I’m lying…
I would be dying if I expressed care,
I more prefer to be in the young ones hair…
And pretty adorn…
Till I see a grown up yawn…
Then back under nose,
To catch wind, enough for a fun ride across the lawn…
Before Hairy’s the wiser…
I’m gone.

Awakening the first fairy’s kiss
Laced lasting memoirs~~~~
my metaphoric is a fairy butterfly cocoon
I shall hold you forever in starlit moon
Darling my hope and dreams covert the sweet loving, waves in loves dune
Beauty cascaded with each butterfly etched again in the silvery spoon
I was down in the meadow pondering my mind,
When I spotted a rose petal falling behind.
I mused that the butterflies were just having fun,
Flitting and flirting under a daffodil sun.
I sat by the stream and drank tea with a dragon.
We had dream berry bread and wine by the flagon.
Up popped a Fairy King on top of a starfish,
“Fly with me, dear maiden. I’ll be all that you wish.”
I thanked the dear dragon and waved on with a tear.
He promised me happiness with nothing to fear.
I hopped on the starfish and cherished my lover,
Touching his pure heart and the strength of his fervor.
We rode to the meadow and lay in fresh roses.
Passions breathed kisses and the stroking of noses.
Now, musing, the bright butterflies pondered the fun,
As we flitted and flirted in daffodil sun.
Time and again, it was more pleasure than rainbow.
A laugh and a touch and a whisper would follow.
Sated, I trifled; “Lord, are you granting my wish?”
“Or, is this a sweet dream caused by riding a fish?”
“It is all that you wished for.” he said with a kiss.
“Your soul so long troubled, it mislaid all of this.”
Then, I awoke. The gentle dragon was weeping.
“I’m sorry, my darling, you and I were sleeping.”
“Fairy Kings and startfish do not ride in this stream.”
“Your lover, your heart’s passions, were only a dream.”
“But, I have been part of you since time has begun.”
“I am real, beloved, in this daffodil sun.”
Faeries kiss your eyes as you slumber,
Sending wave after wave of giddiness through you.
If you believe, you hear the faeries.
Their voices sing through your veins like honey,
Sweet and satisfying.
On your birthday, they listen to your secret wish,
And if you are lucky, they will find you pure enough,
To grant it.
When you lay to sleep, they come and take you away.
They take you to Faeryland, a realm of flickering creatures.
They rouse you, enchanting you; making you the happiest you have ever felt.
They wrap you in silk, feeding you succulent fruits.
You dance with them, holding their tiny forms close,
As they caress and coo softly in your ear.
You wake the next morning,
An odd giddiness inhabits your body and mind.
You lick your lips and taste juice.
You remember nothing of the night before,
But you have a strange knowing that it will happen again.
The question is will you let it happen again?
Do you believe?
Once the sun has set and the moon begins to glow
Fairies come out to play in the winter snow.
Some are dressed up so warm in their winter clothes
Others, running about dancing on their toes.
Look at that one cried a snowman their trying to make
Whilst others decide to ice skate upon the frozen lake.
Now as it reaches midnight the snow begins to fall
All the fairies decided to dress up and have a winter ball.
Inside the ice palace there’s the room in which they will eat
Now they are arriving in beautiful clothes each other they will greet.
All arriving on snowflakes made of soft white lace
And the beauty of the snow queens sapphire eyes sent upon her face.
She commanded they dance the women’s dresses they swirl
As the men spin them round, gently they twirl.
After the dancing it was time for tea
And what a beautiful sight to see.
A certain grand table of food, the chefs are bringing more
The fairies faces light up with all this galore.
After a grand meal the orchestra they play
The men gather the women from their seats and they dance away.
After the dancing and the queens speech
The punch is revealed and the fairies, for glasses they reach.
Clinking of glasses and a huge array of cheers
Some brush away happy, joyful tears.
Some more dances then the ball has ended
As the fairies left they said how they thought it was rather splendid.
As they go out into the frozen, icy, cold night
The fairies used their wings to take flight.
Now the ice palace is empty and the candles are all out
Its still snowing outside, and no one is about.
All the fairies are asleep with their dreams
Everything in the fairy world is as it seems.
I heard her heart
Hit the floor
there she stood
Left to love him no more
Scattered around the room
As I watched her
Reach for the broom
Tears raced down her cheek
She began to change
From tough to meek
I heard her heart
Hit the floor
there she stood
Left to love him no more
I… I… I steal the leaves
But I’ll bring them back in spring
I… I… steal the leaves
but i’ll bring them back in spring
oh yeah yeah yeahI bring the daylight with my spells
That light will fade where my shadow dwells
My voice arises in this song
that brings a silence deeper than a tomb
And I could grant any wish you dream
for all the promises I shall not keep
this way we’re linked in each other’s chains
and thus the cycle runs again
I am the chaos that brings the order back
Rush every second and then stop the time
As dead and breathless as any newborn life
Can be both shapeless or graceful like swans are
I… I… I steal the leaves
But I’ll bring them back in spring
And I could grant any wish you dream
For all the promises I shall not keep
This way we’re linked in each other’s chains
And thus the cycle runs again
I’m the open window. I am the closed door
When I say maybe. I state not anymore I am your courage
I am your inner doubt
When I push forward I make you step back
I… I… steal the leaves
But I’ll bring them back in spring
I.. I…. I steal the leaves
but I’ll bring them back in spring
Emerald green and deep earth brown
In the musky fragrances I drowned,
My senses dull as I walked in a trance
Towards a calling for a dance.
Gathered near an old oak tree
Minions of faeries awaited me,
As I stepped into their ring
Enchanting songs they began to sing.
A void in me was somewhere filled
And I yearned to be forever in,
That magickal moment amongst the faes
Where to this day my soul awaits.

When the golden moon was in its heavn’ly bower
I picked my flute and sat among the flowers,
I waited a while and felt the breeze
The yet unsung tune came with ease.
I closed my eyes as I began to play
So I could clearly picture that day,
On sabbath morning many moons ago
When we all left to be seen no more.
Under the hills and mounds we went
Many a days in sadness spent,
Until we took a look around
In the heart of darkness, beauty abound.
We built, we toiled
Muddy and soiled,
At length stood a glorious home
With a little help from the Gnomes.
Soon we grew accustomed
And our courts were summoned
‘We, People of peace’, spoke the Queen,
‘Shall wait here and never be seen’.
Under hallowed grounds we still roam
Now something we can call a home,
We wait for the race of Adam to see
To awake from their long reverie.
Their eyes see not what we saw in that world so old;
The sun cannot warm their hearts so cold,
Hatred and reasoning will be their poisoned arrow;
Shot to each heart bleeding in sorrow.
But when the scales grow heavy
And their seven seas get so wavy,
A truth shall be foretold
And the awakening we will behold.
I closed my eyes as I played
Awaiting that joyous day,
I stopped and opened them after a while
I spotted my fleeting audience- so agile.
The deer and the toads under the shrub
My thoughtful melody they seem to love,
The woods laid still in heavy silence
I looked up at the yonder moon in reverance
She looked so pale and so forlone
The golden sheen was now all gone,
With tears of pearl she said to me,
‘That was the saddest song that will ever be!’
