Fairy of the winter day
when you fly, fly away
Go you to some invisible realm
where icicles won’t melt
nor dreams foretell
secrets of the fairy
hidden in flight
eery reminder
what once
was felt.

Blackness of thought
hidden in night
jarring remembrance
quickly forgot.
