The sad part of Christmas was that artist Tom Cross passed away on the 27th after fighting lung cancer for 5 years, we had only corresponded a couple of weeks ago, when I suspected he was weakening, so I have his treasured reply.

I write primarily tonight because there have been two messages about “Birth of a Fairy.” The son of the blind man said, “It reveals her beautiful soul. I described it in depth to Papa.” And Papa wrote on his enhanced computer,

I greatly value your significant letters received last night and especially- today. Louis described the beautiful, ethereal image of the in utero fairy- in the safety of its ma-ma’s bubble- wee wings ready for flight. Thank you!
