Whispering wings - Deborah Shepard©2008 Yelm USA

August 2nd, 2008

Delicate petals of pearls, drizzled infusions by love
Inspired symphony of etched sprites roses
Soft floral plumes listen, surround each faerie season
Yesteryears, reasons I love thee

Falling in love, whispering wings
Lavished silken windows
Forever in enchantment, infusion of love
Your auras blend in me

Floating along , faerie lighted glove
The souls passage to your silent door , beloved
Shimmering beauty amongst the tallest tree
My sweetheart, each memory , infusions of love

Fairies - Deborah Shepard©2008 Yelm USA

August 2nd, 2008

Breathe the whimsical light
Dance in twilight lilies plight
Endless toes curled in faerie rose
Soft Romantic lovers pose

falling etchings in gnome curbs
Pebbles soft in each journey
Venues in feathered combs
Lighted fairy’s ship come home

Blueberry buckle ice
Wings softly rustle in night winds eye , sweet marmalade
Just as we say goodnight

Silken Butterfly Pave - Deborah Shepard©2008 Yelm USA

August 2nd, 2008

Hummingbirds dance shall be soft demure
Sculptured edges of laced ledge
Beautiful silken butterfly tigress
Neath’ my forgotten pave’ wings

Enchantment seeds flourish
As the suited plumes release light
Winged vesper each notable sound
Lovely faerie’s dance around

Sterling leaves shall etch the roses in bloom
Hanging in collective lights above
Trailing across the trellises with love
Bisque laughter brings me above

Moonlights lullabies shall sing
I will wait till you come my fairy’s king
Dance in the midsummer’s eve
While amethyst stars shall sing our name

Once - - Karen Lynne Nivens 2008 USA

August 1st, 2008

Once
Upon
A time had
So long ago,
Misty eyes awoke
To see fairies dancing
Spryly in the morning s dew,
Whilst unicorns nibbled clover
On a hill climbed by giants to view
Mermaids swimming in the ocean nearby;
Snuggly blankets granted us protection
Against monsters entering our room,
Magical dreams soothed us in sleep
And our innocence was blessed
As fairies dancing loomed
In stars sparkling light
Upon a time
Long ago
We had
Once

Nocturnal sleep - Deborah Shepard©2008 Yelm USA

June 22nd, 2008

Come along with me, deepen faeries love
Soft beckons the touch I glow, radiance
We are luminous silhouettes in moonlight
Rains washed my being, ’tis flesh heather

Flawless floral plumes sage the nigh
Flights of tranquility sings our heart
Nocturnal sleep, slumbers misty
Blossoms smile, mystical realm

Light air elusive butterflies danced
Sculptured dainty hummingbirds palm
Touch me with blue shades
Collective essence bequest her last breathe to he

All be calm in lovers knot
Carries in pons’rose
Legend shares ’tis sapphires glow
inspiration crafted trails in crystalline

Lost Countries in Your Contest - Albert E. Gazeley©2008

June 20th, 2008

China is such a big place
The Olympics will soon be there
But they are not allowed in your contest
Which I feel is most unfair

Millions can’t enter this competition
Surely there must be something wrong
There is also a similar situation
For this also applies to my Hong Kong

Why are these countries excluded
Here in the East it causes much debate
There is supposed to be racial harmony
So it is nothing to do with hate

Why can’t you adjust your application
Add more countries in this form
Surly that’s not too much to ask
You’d be complying with the norm

Keep Dancing Into the Light - s.k. lindeman2008 ©USA

June 9th, 2008

Keep dancing into the light
Around the beekeeper’s dream
The scent of eternal silence
Jewelled in a honey tree,
Almond finger blossoms waving
Snow petal fairy wings
Senses a silvery pattern
Woven from a spidery skein
Lighter, lifting like a bubble
Floating on heaven scented night
The web is now unfolding
Keep dancing into the light.

My Darling King - Deborah Shepard©2008 Yelm Washington USA

April 29th, 2008

In your arms forever I shall be my darling king
Feeling each lovers prelim in soft romantic fragrant sands
Through all time, my love shall you write each name in waterfalls above
Just imagine the two of us laying in silken butterfly blossoms

Nothing symbolizes our love more in delicate shine
Romantic visions of barter blossoms love afire
Hibiscus, roses shall be grand
Wonders in each galleon stand

Beside my tranquil love, I shall remember the first time kiss
Crystals droplets of flowering dew
Light from each rainbows profusion shone through
Floating on gossamer wings my fairy king

Daydreaming - Dr. James L. Wagner©2008 Nebraska USA

April 7th, 2008

Day Dreaming
Daydreaming

Once there was a
fairy that loved to dream.

For hours she sat on her
mushroom house and pondered.

Someday my dreams will come
true, I know they will.

Remember if you wish long enough,
your dreams will come true.

Annabell-The Fairy that couldn’t fly - Brenda Ints 2008©Qld Australia

February 11th, 2008

Down in a garden where fairies dwell,
Lived a fairy named Annabell.
But Annabell wasn’t like the rest’
Keeping in mind, she always did her best.
but try as she may,try as she might,Annabell never ever took flight.
She would sit under a bluebell and flutter her wings.
Always in wonder what each day would bring.
Will I truely be able to fly?
How will I know if don’t try.
As Annabell made her way to the top,
Hoping she wouldn’t come down with a flop.
she fluttered her wings, and took a step out.
Hoping no other fairies were about.
As she fluttered her wings and took to the air,
It wasn’t long, and she wasn’t there.
All the other fairies laughed until they cried.
Who ever heard of a fairy that couldn’t fly.
This made Annabell feel left out,
As she watched other fairies fly and dash about,
Why can’t I fly? she would say to herself.
None of them knew, how she really felt.
And then one day ,just out of the blue,
She fluttered her wings, and Annabell flew.
Flying and dashing all about,
Annabell finally worked it out.
To never give up, and to always try.
Now Annabell, truely can fly.

A tiny, tiny princess - s.k. lindeman ©2008 NY USA

January 9th, 2008

A tiny, tiny princess
came to earth one day,
And if one listens closely,
we can hear her say,
A morning star in the East
still rises, still
today,
The stillness touched
in solitude,
Amidst the breaking
of the waves.

A Fairy’s Christmas - s.k. lindeman©2007 NY USA

December 18th, 2007
And so it was on Christmas day
So very long ago
That once again the star appeared
That had been lost below.
For black shadows had driven it
Far behind the moon
And no one knew, save one,
What made it reappear.
I’ll tell you the story
During the midnight hour
When one is close to dreams
And angels hover at the edge
Whispering possibillities.
For thus it was told to me, my friend,
During the bewitching hour
When light turns into dark
And fairies rule the world.
It was on the eve of snowflake skies
And dancing in the woods
That wee ones saw the little babe
Swaddled and sleeping in snow.
Such innocence sleep can’t deny
And as if in reply to holy child
Wee ones danced around the babe
Guarding the child from eyes of prey.
And as they danced they built a fire
To protect the babe from winter’s fury
Little one did not wake nor did he cry
But slept on through the night.
And dance they did as fire flamed big
Until the child’s eyes opened in wonder
To behold the light
In silvery night
The wee ones danced around.
And the pixie brought milk
From the unicorn’s horn
For babe to suckle upon,
They loved child with tender smile
As one of their very own.
At daybreak wee ones put out the fire
Fairy folk were careful to hide
Trace of their abode,
For pryng eyes might discover
Little child without a mother.
And so at dawn
Before shadows grew long
Alabaster star
Guiding ever
Brought from the East
Kings bearing gifts,
To worship sublime
The king for all time
Lying as little babe
In the snow.
The wise men foretold
Evil one coming
As snake in the night
On venomous journey
Seeking to destroy
The innocent one.
Then wee ones at nightfall
Circled more frenzied
Around growing pyre
Unleashing fury
At evil one’s desire.
And what was decided
Was to remain united
Seeking to protect
Babe in the woods.
Star must be dimmed
No light therein
So evil one would
Wander as lost.
And so they together
Wee ones, pixies, fairies
Strong magical force
Coalesced into one,
Shot as an arrow
Into the heavens
Eclipsing babe’s
Celestial sun.
‘Twas the fairies that shaded
The light so emblazoned
From the gaze
Of the evil one.
No illumination to be followed
Evil king’s cries became hollow
So child slept on
In the snow.
And still child is sleeping,
Still child is sleeping.
Evil one still wanders
Seeking light yonder
Blind to the light
Above and below.
So wee folks returned
At cold one’s time
To earthlings known
As Christmastime.
With love returned
Radiant star light
And this, my friend,
In the night,
Was told to me
By the one who knew
The star that was dimmed
Again shone free.
The grace of the evergreen
Imbued with light
A song sung
In the night,
Of one little babe
In swaddling clothes
Child of light
Asleep in the snow.
