she lives in the greenest valley
with eyes that haunt your soul
she keeps our deepest longings
that’s her fairy role
there grows a tree in her garden
full of beautiful pears
each one greener than springtime
all are shaped like tears
she loves to fly at twilight
when shadows are dimly green
all in the valley love her
and call her fairy queen.

Fairy of the winter day
when you fly, fly away
Go you to some invisible realm
where icicles won’t melt
nor dreams foretell
secrets of the fairy
hidden in flight
eery reminder
what once
was felt.
Blackness of thought
hidden in night
jarring remembrance
quickly forgot.

Love
- Tiffany Rowson©2009 Hereford UK
February 18th, 2009
All fairies fall in love
but some don’t
all of the magic can whizz around
Some of the magic is special
they use it to cast spells
but if they cast the wrong spell what would happen
You could be turned into a frog? hog? or anything?

Luna’s Reign
- s.k.lindeman©2009 NY USA
February 18th, 2009
Night of the shadow
Shade of the moon
Horse paled by darkness
Gallops swiftly on
Sounds smoothed by silence
As edges of stone
Smoothed by the water
Then swiftly flows on
So time’s rein darkens shadows
Softly they fall
As rain spills to madness
Luna’s reign
has begun.

A fairy was stuck in a cobweb.
A spider was hungry and near,
but she whipped out her golden scissors,
and snipped herself free from fear.

Fairys Rose
- Deborah Shepard©2008 Yelm USA
November 28th, 2008
With windswept smiles
Romantic sentinels gathered to prepare for the feast
His fairy princess danced across the waning moon
Unforgettable love they shared, there
You my love he smiled
The perfect Portia summed to each mother earths light
Caressed in the cadence of true love
Captured at last
Watching butters hums come to life
Reaching clarity in the roses sparkling in dew
There hearts shall shine in each lover trues
Silhouetted kissed they share in moons view
Glory to all who seek the true lake I share she said to the wind
My hearts sharing lasting winds through time
Can he see my heart , she thought
Then with smiles the wings came to bend, he carried the her sunflower ring to her soul , sheltered again

The fairy’s wandering
her wings are light
her shadow so haunting
drips into night
but clutches of darkness
clasp not her wings
for fairy of lightness
flies upon dreams.

Moonbow Fairies
- Ian Richardson©Fife Scotland
October 12th, 2008
My, I am the Fairy of the Moon, the fairy gave a big sigh, then gently her wings beating, she looked towards the sky, and there was the Earth so blue against that black sky. I must go there very soon said the Moon Fairy to herself, all my earthbound fairies will be expecting me. So without waiting further, she flew up into the stars and made towards the earth,

Fairies Moon
On earth the fairies were all singing and dancing under the rays of a harvest moon, as they danced the fairy music good be heard, but only by fairies and those who believe in them, drifting across the fields of corn.
Into their mist came the Moon fairy, she alighted in the middle of the clearing, shimmering so bright in her magic way, covered in a dress a fine moonbeams. All the fairies ran towards her, to spread their wings and greet her so warmly.
You have returned to us Moon fairy they all sang, yes I am back to tell you of the magic of moonbeams and how they heal and bring love to everyone on earth, and so she told them about the magic of the Moon in the heavens above and the Fairies expressed their joy buy dancing and helping all those in need of the magic that only fairies can bring.
And as they looked up, there was a string of stardust drifting upwards towards the stars the Moon fairy returned to her Golden home among the skies so bright.

If you should ever have the privilege to see a moonbow which is a very rare phenomenon believe me you will have been enchanted and blessed by the fairies and the Moon

The Dream
- Nissa Perri 2008©Oakland CA USA
September 28th, 2008
With the moonlight through the window
and sand in my eyes
they lured me outside
while my mind was lathered with dream
stewed for hours in slumber
draping limbs pristine
I was pulled towards
a place
if I’d not gone roaming
through a wood after gloaming
I might have missed,
not seen what I saw
I wandered in sleep
across patio and wet grass
to the trees
draped in moss
and damp spider ash
the ancient ones called
my eyes
glassy and blind
could somehow behold
beings of silver and white
the fluttering wings
silky in the night
glowing flowers
floating pearls hovering their light
outlined
the wild eyed
thin limbed
creatures of myth
of leaf, water, dirt,
flesh, flower, and mold
they stay here forever
and never grow old
moving in spiral
and dizzy widdershin
midges of starlight swirled in my hair
cut in small pieces
combing the air
garlands draped along the boughs
a song
and voices
the grotesque and the fair
and I wish I had savored the moment when I saw this
one slice of the place
till the curtain came down and I was fetched by the deep.
I awoke in the morning
safe curled in my bed
my hands grasping
the ring of flowers
still crowned round my head.

Fairys weave
- Deborah Shepard©2008 Yelm USA
September 21st, 2008
Delicate fairy’s prayers
collection in blueberry stems everywhere
colorful array of pristine buttercups in arrows
Lasting feathered cups shelter each midnight show
Ruby throated soft hummingbird glides
Flowery stems as each teardrop flies
Whispering wings will change with each life
Garden of butterflies softly subside
Rapid motions filter each being
Jasper stones softly life each cocoon
Behold the wondrous life inside
Henna painted child fairy’s bride
As the thin layer lifts the secret glen
The song of the season begins
Beginning with two children’s dream
Splash of cols if you really believe?

Fairys Magic
- Deborah Shepard©2008 Yelm USA
August 5th, 2008
Where doth the winds come?
With inspired dreams of mid ‘summers love
Alone with goddess heart, his rose he gives
Whist hence my prince of tides?soon to mine
My hour fairy’s light shone, his gentle plight
In the night comes his sweet voice to mine
Child silent eyes aglow, my butterfly soul
Thy wings sigh, I am wee child
Tiny lullabies, sway ye mortal child, magical novice
Tis morn has come, to no more weep
Winter flutters about Irish moors
Flowing in and out carrying orbs
Intent to be in oblivion and more
Visions opened the unlocked doors
Cast a shadow on winters quilt to
They will keep you warm my thoughts
Barefoot with dreams from gardens only love
I shall wait for him in compassion dove
Flowery petals dust with silvers and gold’s
Sands with sparkles seeing us old
Prince we are one, now is Faye legend of love
My souls entwined with my sparkling gem
Fairy magic will be back again till morn sleep, my child of woe

Little fairy on my path,
Are you the one that makes me laugh
Are you the one thats full of fun
And hides away when adults come?
I’m sure its you I heard today,
Your sweet sweet voice that said to stay,
I tried to copy what you said,
But you did’nt hear and left instead,
So please little Fairy, please dont go,
your little house, I’ll never show,
I’ll keep you secret right till the end,
I love you so my Fairy friend.

Fairy Love
- Mary2008©Geelong Australia
August 2nd, 2008
Love can be measured in different ways
Some count months, and some count days,
I measure our love in a different way it’s the
Love we show everyday it’s the little things
Like a kiss goodbye or when I come home and
You say hi there are many more things I would
Love to say that makes me love you more each day.

Dingly Dell
- Jane Bremner2008©Sutherland UK
August 2nd, 2008
Down in Dingly Dell
Behind the waterfall
This is where the fairies live
Beautiful and small.
They buzz around like fireflies
Zooming in and out
They sprinkle you with moonbeam dust
The giggle, sing and shout.
Their wings beat fast and silent
And twinkle in starlight
They may only be tiny
But together, a lot of powerful might.
Some people think I’m crazy
Off my head like squawking crows
Oh yes I have seen them
I’m the only one who knows.
What’s hidden behind the waterfall
Oh what a sight
A tiny town of fairies
So wonderful in flight.

Exultant
- Bridgette2008©Walnut USA
August 2nd, 2008
In this enchanted beauty
I shall be perfected
And here complete felt the heart
Along with expressions
Of grief and gratitude
Came within reach
Much adoration flowed through the air
And what an admirable prospect it was
And so far to be compared!
