Norway wins the Eurovision Song Contest held in Moscow. Singer and violinist Alexander Rybak smashed the record for the most points awarded during the competition for the song ‘Fairytale’. Iceland came second,  followed by Azerbaijan in third place. The UK’s entry Jade Ewen, singing a song composed by Lord Lloyd Webber came fifth.
